Frequently asked questions

How quickly will I get a reply?
Within two business days Gregor Theis gets back to you personally, with questions or a proposed date. You get an answer from the engineer, not from sales.
What does the first call look like?
30 to 45 minutes by phone or video: starting point, scope, timeframe. We will also tell you if we are not the right fit.
What does an offer look like, and how do you bill?
Short and in writing: scope, period, billing by time and materials at a daily rate or a fixed price for a defined package. Framework agreements are possible.
How soon can you start?
Typical lead time is two to four weeks, depending on the current assignment and your approval processes. Short assignments are often faster.
Do you work on site or remotely?
Both, depending on the project. So far our clients have been in the greater Düsseldorf area; for short assignments we also work worldwide.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. NDAs are common at banks and telecoms and a matter of course for us; we name clients only with their consent.
What helps with the first inquiry?
Three sentences: one about the environment (database, operating system, platform), one about the task, one about the timeframe. That is all it takes to start.
